We are excited to announce that the Humboldt County Planning Commission unanimously approved our Reggae On The River permit application at their recent meeting on January 3rd, 2013. With this news, the Mateel Community Center will now officially proceed with plans to host the 29th annual Reggae On The River at the festival's original French's Camp venue, located just north of the Humboldt County line in the Piercy area of northern California. The event will take place on August 1-4, 2013 with the main 3-day festival happening August 2-4. A limited number of early arrival tickets which are good for the full 4-day experience will also be available. A total of 6000 tickets will be made available to the public and they are expected to go fast due to high demand and increased excitement for this special homecoming celebration. Ticket pricing and the official on sale date will be announced in the coming week and will be followed shortly by our first wave of artist announcements. It is going to be an incredible year, so don't delay in making your plans and we'll see you on the river!
